The Australia Council’s three-year Education and the Arts Strategy is now available.
The strategy is the result of careful consideration of community feedback received in early 2004. The feedback was based on the draft strategy and also included detailed discussion with the members of the National Education and the Arts Network (NEAN).
The two key priorities of the strategy are:
- articulating the role of the arts in enabling young people to thrive in a rapidly changing world and
- facilitating collaborative effort between the arts and education sectors.
