Emilia Rhodes is Editorial Director of HMH Books for Young Readers where she edits and oversees young adult and middle-grade fiction and non-fiction. She has previously been an editor at Harper Collins Children’s Books, Alloy Entertainment, and Simon Pulse/Simon & Schuster US.

Her list over the years has included New York Times bestsellers The Thousandth Floor by Katharine McGee, Ruined by Amy Tintera, The Vampire Diaries by LJ Smith, Thirst by Christopher Pike, and Kissed by an Angel by Elizabeth Chandler, as well as National Book Award finalist Out of Reach by Carrie Arcos, Let’s Get Lost by Adi Alsaid, The Merciless by Danielle Vega, Grim Lovelies by Megan Shepherd, The Other Side of Summer by Emily Gale, and the Queen of Hearts series by Colleen Oakes.

Her upcoming titles include Maya and the Rising Dark by Rena Barron, The Ravens by Danielle Paige and Kass Morgan, and the American Dog series by Jennifer Li Shotz.

She lives in Brooklyn, NY with a rotating cast of foster dogs.
