Aurélie Pregliasco studied French Literature at La Sorbonne in Paris and has a Master’s degree in Editorial Policy in Publishing. After 13 years at Editions Gallimard Jeunesse as Fiction Editor and International Fiction Managing Editor, she was recently made Editorial Director of the Fiction department.
Gallimard Jeunesse is the home of some of the greatest French and international authors, from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry to Philip Pullman, JRR Tolkien, Cornelia Funke, Tonke Dragt, Dino Buzzati, Timothée de Fombelle, JK Rowling, Daniel Pennac, Roald Dahl, Lian Hearn and many more.
Over the years, Aurélie has actively participated in developing the International Fiction side of the list, by prospecting worldwide and building strong relationships with foreign authors, publishers and agents. Her department publishes novels for readers aged from six to Young Adults, as well as picture books that appeal to readers of all ages.
